About Daniel Binelli
Binelli is an internationally renowned master of the bandoneon, seasoned composer and experienced arranger, widely acclaimed as the foremost exponent and torchbearer of the music of Astor Piazzolla. In 1989, Binelli joined Astor Piazzolla´s New Tango Sextet, touring internationally. Previously, from 1968 until 1982, he was a member Osvaldo Pugliese´ s Orchestra, for which he created many arrangements.
About Polly Ferman
One of the leading interpreters of the music of the Americas prompted The Japan Times to recognize her as "Musical Ambassador of the Americas." Ferman has been featured soloist, among others, with the Symphonies of San Francisco, Sacramento, Colorado, Vancouver, Indianapolis, Tokyo Philharmonic, Kharkov Philharmonic, Philippine Philharmonic, Sâo Paulo State Symphony, the National Symphony of Argentina, Teatro SODRE Orchestra of Montevideo, Philharmonic of Montevideo, Camerata Romeu of Cuba in addition to recitals at New York's Carnegie Hall, Tokyo's Suntory and Takemitsu Halls, Virginia's Wolf Trap, London's St. Martin in the Fields, Koncert Halle of Munich and the Buenos Aires Teatro Colon, among others.
About Nights at Sugar Hill
Nights at Sugar Hill is a new public program series dedicated to highlighting the history and legacy of the Sugar Hill neighborhood and Northern Manhattan. Held every third Thursday evening of the month, and open to the general public, Nights at Sugar Hill features artist’s talks, performances, and conversations with leading Sugar Hill historians.
